Tree Walks on the Quad, Oct. 5, 10 & 20

The Friends of the Fell Arboretum will present three guided tree walks on the Illinois State University campus in October, led by Department of Biological Sciences horticulturist Don Schmidt.

The tree walks, which are free and open to the public, will be conducted on Friday, Oct. 5 at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 4 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 20 at 1 p.m.

The walks will begin at the Sassafras Grove seating area on the Quad near Hovey Hall.  For more information on the tree walks contact Don Schmidt at (309) 438-3800.
