Second Annual Play for Olamide Bean Bags Tournament, Sept. 15

The second annual Play For Olamide Bean Bags Tournament will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, from 1-6 p.m. in the parking lot of the Alamo II, 319 North St. in Normal.  Proceeds from the tournament will support the Olamide E. Adeyooye Memorial Scholarship Fund at Illinois State University.

Registration for the bean bags tournament is $15 for individuals.  The cost for a two-person team is $20, if registered by Friday, Sept. 14, or $30 on the day of the event.  Participants will receive t-shirts and free food and will be eligible to win prizes donated by local businesses.  The tournament is being hosted by the Illinois State University Student Foundation and the Alamo II.

The Olamide E. Adeyooye Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to honor the memory of an Illinois State senior who was abducted and killed in October 2005.  For registration information please visit www.studentfoundation.ilstu.edu, or call (309) 438-GIVE.  Participants can also register for the event at the Alamo II.  In case of inclement weather, the event will be held in Horton Field House.
