In honor of Banned Books Week, Illinois State University’s Milner Library and Barnes & Noble College Book Store will host readings from banned and challenged books on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 2, 3 & 4.
The readings, done by Illinois State faculty and staff and local community members, will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in front of the Barnes & Noble College Bookstore in the Bone Student Center.
A brief introduction of the selected books will cover the reasons why they have been banned or challenged.
