Veterans Day Ceremony, Nov. 9

Illinois State University will hold its annual Veterans Day ceremony on Friday, Nov. 9, at 12 p.m. in the Bowling and Billiards Center Activity Room.  The event is free and open to the public.

Following the ceremony, the audience is invited to proceed to the flagpole on the Quad for the laying of flowers and playing of Taps.

Veterans may pick up commemorative yellow ribbons that morning from 9 -11 a.m. in 112 Moulton Hall and at the entrance to the Bowling and Billiards Center.

The ceremony is sponsored by Veterans Services, Illinois State University Army ROTC, Office of the University Registrar, Chi Gamma Iota, and Xi Gamma Iota.
