Flutist Risinger to Present Oct. 9 Recital in Kemp

Kimberly McCoul Risinger of Illinois State University’s School of Music will present a flute recital at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, in Kemp Recital Hall.  Admission is free and open to the public.

Risinger will be assisted by School of Music colleagues Paul Borg and Tuyen Tonnu, both playing piano, violinist Sarah Gentry and cellist Adriana LaRosa Ransom.  The recital is part of the Charles W. Bolen Faculty Recital Series, named in honor of the retired dean of the College of Fine Arts.

The program will include J.S. Bach’s Concerto in D Minor, BWV 1043; Trio No. 2, Op. 87, by Lowell Lieberman; Nocturne et Allegro Scherzando by Philippe Gaubert and Chant de Linos by Andre Jolivet.
