Ghostly Tales Show at Planetarium, Oct. 26 & 27

 In celebration of Halloween, the Illinois State University Planetarium will present Ghostly Tales Under the Stars on Friday, Oct. 26 at 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday, Oct. 27 at both 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m..  The show features an hour of spooky music and ghost stories told under the Planetarium stars. 

On other Fridays and Saturdays through Nov. 10, the Planetarium will present the family favorite program, 3, 2, 1, Blast Off!.  Show times are 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturdays. 

The show features two youngsters, Devon and Alex, exploring the solar system aboard cyber-ship Sol 1.  Together with their guide, Pixel, the children visit each of the planets that circle the Sun.

Admission to Planetarium programs is $3 for adults, $2 for children ages 5-12 and seniors and $1.50 for children ages 3-4.  Planetarium members are admitted free of charge.

The Planetarium is located under the white domed roof at the eastern end of Felmley Hall of Science at the intersection of School St. and College Ave. in Normal.
