BOT Approves Presidential Compensation

Illinois State University’s Board of Trustees today set President Al Bowman’s salary compensation at $310,000, effective July 1, 2007.

The Board reviewed the presidential compensation level in conjunction with its evaluation of the president’s performance and determined that President Bowman, the 17th president of Illinois State University, has “tirelessly and effectively served the interests of the University.”
