Annual Outdoor Equipment Sale Set for April 5

Looking for some great used outdoor equipment at a fantastic price?  The Illinois State University Outdoor Adventure Program will host its Annual Outdoor Equipment Sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at the Outdoor Adventure Rental Center, 220 N. Main (corner of Main & Locust) in Normal.

There will be a wide variety of equipment available for sale, including backpacks, sleeping bags, tents, outdoor cooking items and much more.  For a complete list of sale items, visit the website at www.rec.ilstu.edu/adventure

“This is a great opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to purchase necessary gear at a great price,” says Outdoor Adventure Program Coordinator Alissa Pywell. “If we don’t have what you want at the equipment sale, chances are we have it available to rent.” 

Typical operating hours for the Outdoor Adventure Rental Center are 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays
