Illinois Shakespeare Festival Tickets on Sale April 1

The 31st season of the Illinois Shakespeare Festival will open June 27, and tickets will be on sale at the festival box office in the Centennial Building on campus beginning Tuesday, April 1.

The season opens with “Taming of the Shrew” and will be followed June 28 with “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged).”  The season’s third play, “Titus Andronicus,” will open on July 18.  Performances of the three plays will rotate Tuesdays through Sundays throughout the season.

Box office hours are noon to 5 p.m. weekdays.  Individual tickets also will be available online beginning April 1 at Ticketmaster.com/venue/57373    Individual and multiple-ticket prices and other information is available at the festival Web site at www.thefestival.org
