Peace Process in Nepal is Global Review Speaker Topic March 27

The Thursday, March 27, Global Review speaker will be Prakash Ragi, consultant to the World Bank and a former United Nations employee, speaking on “The Peace Process in Nepal and Elections to the Constituent Assembly.”   Admission is free and open to the public.

On April 3, Illinois State University Professor Carlos Parodi will discuss “Can Former Presidents be Tried for Human Rights Violations?  Lessons Learned from Peru's Alberto Fujimori.”  It will take place at 5 p.m. in Schroeder 244.

A rescheduled speaker from the fall, Geoffrey Stone, professor of law at the University of Chicago, will speak at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 17, on “Top Secret - When Our Government Keeps Us in the Dark.”  His talk, which will take place in the Prairie Room of Bone Student Center, is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters, and is free and open to the public.
