More Submissions Sought for Postcard Art Event

Friends of the Arts, the community organization dedicated to raising scholarship funds for students in the College of Fine Arts at Illinois State University, has scheduled an evening on Saturday, March 1, of music, refreshments, friendship and an auction of original Postcard art by famous artists, not-so-famous artists, student artists and others.

Artists of all skill levels still are welcome to create and donate their work to the one-day event to benefit ISU fine arts students.  Work can be two or three dimensional and in any media. Two-dimensional work must be 4" x 6" and three-dimensional work must be 4" x 6" and no deeper than 1". Hanging and freestanding work is acceptable.

Artists must sign the work on the back, NOT on the front, so bidders will not know whose work they are trying to purchase.  Work will be accepted until Feb. 1 and can be mailed or delivered in person to the University Galleries with a completed Artwork Submission Form (available at http://www.cfa.ilstu.edu/postcard/submit.shtml).
