North Korea Subject of International Seminar, Jan. 30

“Escaping the ‘Axis of Evil:’ North Korea and the Bush Administration” will be the subject of a presentation by Bruce Cummings on Wednesday, Jan. 30, at 12 p.m. in the Bone Student Center Third Floor East Lounge.  The event is free and open to the public and a free lunch will be served.

Cummings is chair of the Department of History at the University of Chicago and specializes in modern Korean history and the East Asian political economy.  His presentation is part of Illinois State’s International Studies Seminar Series exploring topics in global politics and culture. The seminar series is organized by the Unit for International Linkages, Office of International Studies and Programs, and the Women's and Gender Studies Program.
