The fourth annual Long-Term Care Career Fair will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 22, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Bone Student Center Brown Ballroom. The event is sponsored by the Expanding Teaching Nursing Home Project at Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University.
Exhibitors representing long-term care facilities and agencies supporting the care of older adults will be in attendance at the career fair. The event is intended to encourage nursing students to consider careers in long-term care, and as an opportunity for long-term care facilities to recruit nursing employees.
Professional seminars on nursing care and careers in long-term care will also be presented from 1-3 p.m. in the Bone Student Center Old Main and Circus Rooms. The sessions are open to nursing professionals and students at no cost. For more information contact Charlene Aaron at (309) 438-7116.
