Illinois State Vigil Tuesday to Show Support for Northern Illinois University Students

Student groups at Illinois State University will show their support for Northern Illinois University students at a 4:45 p.m. vigil Tuesday, February 19, 2008, in Redbird Arena.

The Student Government Association, the University Program Board, the Association of Residence Halls and ISU Athletics planned the event to help the campus community demonstrate its sympathy for the Northern Illinois University student body, faculty and staff following the tragedy on Thursday.

Student representatives and university officials will speak at the event.

Ribbons will be provided to those who attend, and banners will be available to sign.
