"Dr. Taye" to Speak Feb. 21 to Discuss Crisis in Horn of Africa

This week’s Global Review speaker at Illinois State University will be Taye (TAH-yay) Woldesmiate, an ISU alumnus and currently visiting professor of Political Science at Illinois Wesleyan University.

Woldesmiate will speak at 5 p.m. (earlier than the usual Global Review programs) Thursday, Feb. 21, in Schroeder Hall room 242 (a change of location) on the topic, “Globalization and the Crisis in the Horn of Africa.”  Admission is free and open to the public.   

A week later, at 7 p.m. on Feb. 28, Illinois State Politics and Government Professor Robert Bradley will speak on “The Mad Dash for the Presidency - 2008 Style: A Recap and Predictions” in Schroeder 242.
