Assigned Digital Videos Make it to Big Normal Screen

Illinois State University students enrolled in a multimedia writing workshop in the Department of English have produced digital videos for the class and the videos will be screened, free and open to the public, at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the Normal Theatre.

The event will feature work of students enrolled in Cheryl Ball’s multimedia writing workshop as well as work of students in Gabe Gudding’s poetry class, Nathalie op de Beeck’s children’s literature class and Torri Thompson’s literature class.  The students produced video parodies and documentaries, memoir videos, video poems and music videos.

The screening will last about one hour and concessions will be available for sale.
