Half-price Tickets Offered for Final Shakespeare Festival Performances

Tickets for the final six performances in the 30th annual Illinois Shakespeare Festival are available for 50 percent off when purchased on the day of the performance (excluding Ticketmaster purchases).

Preceded by the Green Show at 7 p.m., performances begin at 8 in the Theatre at Ewing Manor at the corner of Emerson and Towanda in Bloomington. The remaining plays are “Love’s Labour’s Lost” on Tuesday, Aug. 7; “Henry V” on Aug. 8; “Much Ado About Nothing” on Aug. 9; “Love’s Labour’s Lost” on Aug. 10; “Much Ado About Nothing” on Aug. 11; and “Love’s Labour’s Lost” on Sunday, Aug. 12.

The box office in the Center for the Performing Arts is open from noon to 5 p.m. each day and the box office at Ewing Manor is open from 6:30 p.m. to intermission. The box office also can be reached at (309) 438-2535.
