“The National Map: The Tactical Plan and 2.0” will be the topic of a presentation by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) geospatial liaison Shelley Silch on Friday, April 11 at 3 p.m. in the Felmley Hall of Science Room 209. Silch’s presentation, part of the Department of Geography-Geology Colloquium Series, is free and open to the public.
Silch will speak about the development and implementation of the USGS National Map, a program of interactive digitized topographical maps of the United States. The web-based National Map provides public access to high quality geospatial data.
