Got a quick question for a reference librarian? Illinois State University's Milner Library now offers patrons the option of posing questions using AOL Instant Messaging.

Patrons who have access to AOL Instant Messenger can now text brief questions to an on-duty reference librarian at the screen name milnerlibrarian. The service is designed to provide brief answers to factual questions, suggest appropriate sources and research strategies and help with remote access and library policy issues.
