Alumna Claire Berger To Unveil Dream Dorm Do-Over Winner, Oct. 11

Illinois State University alumna and HGTV host Claire Berger '77 will be on campus on Wednesday, Oct. 11 to unveil the winner of the Homecoming 2006 Dream Dorm Do-Over contest. The unveiling ceremony will take place from 6 - 7:30 p.m. in the Bowling and Billiards Center Activity Room.

The winner of the Dream Dorm Do-Over contest will have their residence hall room redecorated by Berger, the host of Fantasy Open House on the HGTV cable network. The contest winner will receive $500 worth of decorating items. The unveiling event will feature before and after photos and video of the winning residence hall room.

Contestants vying for the room makeover have submitted a contest application, video footage or photos of their room and essays explaining why their room needs the makeover treatment.

Berger presents the Dream Dorm Do-Over through The College Agency, Inc. at college campuses nationwide. The event during Illinois State's Homecoming week is sponsored by the Illinois State University Alumni Association, Student Alumni Council, Student Foundation, and Association of the Residence Halls.
