Illinois State University will hold its Veterans Day ceremony on
Friday, Nov. 10, starting at 4 p.m. in the Bowling and Billiards Center
(BBC) Activity Room. The event is free and open to the public.
Veterans may pick up commemorative yellow ribbons from 9 a.m. to 12 noon in Moulton Hall Room 112 and at the entrance to the BBC.
The ceremony will include remarks by Lieutenant Colonel Eugene Snyman, chairperson and professor of Military Science, posting of the colors by Illinois State's Army ROTC Color Guard, a POW/MIA tribute and recognition of veterans by Illinois State President Al Bowman.
Following the ceremony, the Army ROTC Color Guard will proceed to the flagpole on the Quad for the laying of flowers and the playing of Taps by bugler Kyle Berens.
