"The Illustrated Woman" to be Performed Oct. 20-22

Illinois State University Women's Project and YWCA Stepping Stones will present "The Illustrated Woman," on Friday, Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 21 and 22 at 2 p.m. in room 202 of Centennial West. There will also be a special performance at the YWCA McLean County Community Room on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 7:30 p.m. (1201 N. Hershey Road). Admission is free and open to the public.

The play, written by Nancy Kiefer, a faculty member at John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio, follows the journey of a girl who suffers sexual abuse and Disassociative Identity Disorder. The play follows her as she discovers her true self despite all odds.

The Women's Project is a registered student organization whose purpose is to empower the women of Illinois State University to produce, direct, design and perform theater.
