Halloween afternoon and evening, Oct. 31, will be celebrated in the
University Galleries at Illinois State University with the screening of
classic, scary movies from noon to 9 p.m. and a costume party from 7 to 9
p.m.
The Halloween events are held in conjunction with the current Galleries exhibition, illustrator Thomas Woodruff's "Freak Parade," a collection of images that celebrate of the beauty of aberrance. The exhibition runs through Nov. 5.
The evening party will feature live music and snacks as well as an opportunity for students and others to see and be seen in their costumes before or after trick-or-treating.
The University Galleries are open 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays through Mondays.
