Singer and composer Jim Brickman will present his holiday show at
Illinois State University's Braden Auditorium at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12.

Brickman's musical career, which began as a college student writing commercial jingles who gradually turned to writing romantic popular songs, includes several Top 40 radio hits, a platinum-selling album, four certified gold records and a 2003 Grammy nomination. His original songs are his best know, including chart-topping hits "Valentine," "The Gift," "Sending You a Little Christmas" and "Peace."
Brickman has been equally successful in other artistic endeavors, including a weekly syndicated radio show, "Your Weekend with Jim Brickman," and two best-selling books of essays, "Simple Things" and "Love Notes: 101 Lessons from the Heart."
