Global Review Speaker to Discuss Avian Flu Effect on Globalization

"The Horrific Consequences of Avian Flu on Globalization, A Business Perspective" is the title of a talk by Gail Russ at Illinois State University International House's Global Review. The talk will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, in the Eleanor Kong Room in Walker Hall. Admission is free.

Russ is an associate professor in the Department of Management and Quantitative Methods at Illinois State.

The final Global Review of the semester, on Dec. 7, will be a presentation on the current state of Russia and its journalists who recently have been killed as a result of speaking out against incumbent president Putin. The speaker will be Marat Abdukarimov, a grad student in psychology who is currently studying at ISU on exchange from Russia.
