Victory Records recording artists Quiet Drive, Crown Atlantic, June
and The Junior Varsity will perform at the Olamide Adeyooye Benefit Concert
on Saturday, Dec. 2, starting at 7:30 p.m. in the Bone Student Center
Prairie Room. Proceeds from the event will support the Olamide E. Adeyooye
Scholarship at Illinois State University.
Tickets for the event are $13 and will go on sale Tuesday, Nov. 14, starting at 11 a.m., at Ticketmaster outlets and at ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be available at the Bone Student Center Box Office until 8:30 p.m. on the night of the show.
The concert is sponsored by the Illinois State University Student Foundation. The Student Foundation has been actively raising money to endow the Olamide E. Adeyooye Scholarship to honor the Illinois State student who was slain in 2005. The scholarship will be given for the first time during the University's 150th Celebration in 2007.
