"Pandemic Influenza: Preparedness Prevents Panic" will be the topic
of the 2007 Scholar in Health Education lecture by Audrey R. Gotsch on
Tuesday, Feb. 6, at 7 p.m. in the Bone Student Center Circus Room. The
presentation is free and open to the public.
Gotsch is a professor and dean of the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ)-School of Public Health. Her research areas include environmental health sciences education, health promotion strategies, risk communication, and public health policy. She is past president of the American Public Health Association and currently chairs the board of directors for the National Center for Health Education.
The annual Scholar in Health Education lecture is sponsored by the Health Education Program in Illinois State's Department of Health Sciences.
