Guest Musician from West Point to Perform Friday, March 2

Guest artist Jason Ham, a fifth-year student at West Point, will present a euphonium recital at 8 p.m. Friday, March 2, in Kemp Recital Hall at Illinois State University. He also will present a master class at 3 p.m. that day in Kemp. Admission is free.

Ham began playing the euphonium at age 12 and went on to win the euphonium solo artist competition at the 2001 International Tuba and Euphonium Conference held in Finland. He has visited and performed at many colleges and universities in the U.S. and about a dozen festivals here and abroad. Ham also has played in Bulgaria, Macedonia and Beijing, China.
