The Community School for the Arts at Illinois State University's School of Music is currently accepting students for private music study on all the instruments of the orchestra and band, as well as classical guitar, piano, and voice.

Students of every age - from kindergarteners through senior citizens - are welcome to participate. The classical music lessons are taught on campus at a mutually agreeable time by professional music teachers from the community, and graduate and undergraduate students majoring in music. Weekly lessons begin the week of Jan. 21.

An optional culminating public performance will celebrate the conclusion of the session on May 4. Registration forms, program description and scholarship information are accessible on-line at http://www.music.ilstu.edu/music/community/. A limited number of need-based scholarships are available upon application.
