An art exhibition featuring the works of three photography students at Illinois State University will open Aug. 8 at Transpace Gallery, 107 North Street in Normal.

The opening of "Movement, Isolation, Horror" will be from 6 to 8 p.m. and refreshments will be served. The show will be on display through Sept. 16, and features the final Spring 2006 semester projects of Jennifer Weber, Jacob DeGeal and Nathan Bridges. The exhibition is comprised of a mix of mediums, scales, perspectives and insight.

Transpace summer hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays. The hours will change and will be announced when Illinois State classes begin on Aug. 21. Transpace is funded by Illinois State University's School of Art and provides students in the art field the opportunity to curate public shows, display their work, and gain experience in professional art.
