Illinois State University's Student Volunteer Center will host a school supply drive for Sharefest from Sept. 7 to 9. Donations of binders, folders, calculators, writing paper and art supplies will be accepted on the ISU quad from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, and at Sharefest Village in Eastland Mall on Sept. 8 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and Sept. 9 (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.).

Sharefest is a coalition of the faith community, civic organizations, community agencies and the local media who have joined forces to serve the needs of McLean County residents. The school supply drive is an opportunity to give back and serve others.

During the Sept. 7 drive on the quad (which also will feature Health Promotions sponsoring its Seven Kick Off), the Student Volunteer Center will be collecting school supplies and will be giving prizes for the largest donation from a university department, registered student organization, residence hall floor, Greek organization or individual.

During Sharefest Village Sept. 8 and 9, the United Way will be collecting items for their food drive and The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive.
