Nominations for this year's Illinois State Student Lincoln Laureate are due to Steve Adams, 2100 Student Affairs, by Sept. 25. Nominations should include resume, a letter of nominating rationale and a letter of recommendation for graduating 2006-07 seniors in good standing who have a 2.5 GPA or better.

Each year, an outstanding senior from each of the four-year, degree-granting institution of higher education in Illinois is named a student laureate of the Lincoln Academy of Illinois. Criteria include more than academic achievement, with past recipients chosen for having faced physical or economic difficulties, who possess unique artistic or technical talent or who have leadership skills.
