Art dealer and gallery owner Shane Campbell of Chicago will be the
next Visiting Artist Program speaker in the School of Art at noon Tuesday,
April 10, in the Center for the Visual Arts room 149. Admission is free and
open to the public.
Campbell owns two galleries, in Chicago and Oak Park, and will give a question-and-answer workshop on the art and business of operating a gallery and selling artworks. He will also cover gallery representation in art fairs, liaison with Museum collections, the relationship between dealer, artist and collector, and many other aspects of interest to graduating students.
