Professor Jamal Nassar, chair of Politics and Government at Illinois
State University, will make his last local public speaking appearance
Thursday, April 12, at Global Review, an organization he helped create in
1979.
Nassar will talk about the United States and the Middle East at 7 p.m. in the Eleanor Kong Room in Walker Hall. Admission is free and open to the public.
Nassar is retiring at the end of the school year and has accepted the position of dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at California State University at San Bernardino.
Global Review is a weekly scheduled forum for the discussion of international and related topics, sponsored by the Global Review Student Association. Global Review features guest speakers, panel discussions, alternative perspectives, and critical open debates of events and issues confronting the global community.
